I am the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math and 8th Science teacher here at Penryn School.
A little information about me is that I have travelled to many different countries (18), some during my time in the US Navy (USS Nimitz), and have visited all 50 of the United States. I love to play chess, solve Sudoku puzzles (as well as many others), spend time with my wife, and I really love to run! This is why I coach both Cross Country and Track and Field, which I have coached for many years.
I graduated from Sacramento State with my Bachelors in Psychology. During my college years, I also studied a lot of Math and Science as I spent much of my time after the Navy working on getting a degree in Engineering, which I switched from when I realized that an engineer was not what I wanted to be when I grew up.
As a teacher, I believe that the classroom should be a place that both the students and I look forward to coming to. A safe and fun learning environment for everyone, which I do my best to achieve here at Penryn.
